Bernice Anderson Named 2nd Quarter Winner for KNF&T’s 2017 Staffing Employee of the Year Contest

 

KNF&T Staffing Resources is happy to announce that Bernice Anderson has been named the second quarter winner of KNF&T’s 2017 Staffing Employee of the Year contest.

Bernice came to us in the fall of 2016 after her mother had previously found success through KNF&T, and she met with our contract recruiting consultant, Nichole. Bernice noted: “After I met with KNF&T, I bragged about the company for a good week. After my first meeting with Nichole, I was called that same day for an interview and I was working just two days later.”

Her consultant, Nichole, says: “We were really impressed with Bernice, she was always eager to try a new role and had a great work ethic. When we started working with her, she had retail and customer service experience and temping was a great way to build more office experience.”

“I didn’t just do front desk work. I also did events and other jobs where I met new people. I was put in situations I wouldn’t have been in otherwise, which allowed me to make new connections, and I liked how diverse the companies were,” mentioned Bernice.

The office experience she gained was in fact so great that, according to Nichole, “She took a two week contract position as a receptionist, and the client liked her so much that they hired her as a permanent administrative assistant!”

To boot, Bernice is in the process of earning her degree, so she is balancing both work and school with an effortless grace. “This position helps me to get time to get homework done and do classes. I definitely had a great experience working with KNF&T. Thank you for the opportunity.”

Bernice was born in West Africa and moved to America when she was 4 years old. She currently resides in Weymouth, MA and is expecting to receive her degree in May 2018.
