Our client in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist to join their team. In this contract role, you will focus on developing and delivering global compensation policies and programs, including base pay programs, and short- and long-term incentive programs. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the Senior Compensation Specialist:

  • Provide support and administration of global compensation program including sales compensation, annual compensation program review, annual salary planning cycle, and bonus cycles
  • Perform job evaluations, conduct external bench marking of roles, and recommend grade assignments
  • Conduct research, learns best practices and provides input on recommendations on global plans and programs
  • Participate in global compensation planning programs by providing system support as needed
  • Provide advice and counsel to HR and pay decisions including policy and guideline interpretation
  • Participate in compensation surveys
  • Participate in annual market analysis and make recommendations to support salary ranges and annual budget requests
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to HR business partners on compensation related issues
  • Understand and respond to inquiries regarding wage and hour law and our compensation programs and processes
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and planning to continuously improve our global compensation programs and processes
  • Participate in global compensation projects and initiatives as necessary
  • Report to the Director of Global Compensation and work with a cross-functional global team including HR colleagues and organizational leaders
Requirements for the Senior Compensation Specialist:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant compensation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Excel experience
  • Compensation experience preferred
  • Sales compensation experience a bonus
  • Strong interest in analyzing data and able to synthesize large data sets to form recommendations
  • Experience working with Oracle preferred
  • Global compensation experience preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
