In this role, you will develop and manage all aspects of the order management process, liaising and influencing the complete order to cash cycle, including but not limited to:  processing sales orders and corresponding documentation, maintaining ERP functionality, working closely with commercial, finance and manufacturing functions and ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities for the Order Management Specialist:

  • Satisfy all customer requests and support sales staff promptly and professionally via telephone, email, web, and fax
  • Process all customer orders; review order details and proactively manage the customers' experiences
  • Monitor open orders until order is fulfilled and send written order confirmation to customer including expected date of delivery
  • Manage the order process using Infor SyteLine ERP functionality
  • Assist Sales in achieving sales target through various tasks as needed
  • Coordinate with the sales and service organizations for warranty tracking and billable service activities
  • Assist customers in basic technical support and be able to offer substitutions
  • Attend periodic training sessions, coordinate with technical staff to ensure accuracy of information being provided
  • Participate in development of WEB store functionality
  • Responsible for Customer file and Product file
  • Manage order fulfillment metrics
Requirements for the Order Management Specialist:
  • Order management experience; experience developing and implementing order management policies and procedures
  • Previous experience with ERP/CRM applications (sales force .com experience preferred)
  • Previous experience in the Life Science industry preferred
  • Accounting or Finance background preferred
  • Flexibility in work hours is to accommodate workload fluctuations
  • Previous experience in reporting tools, booking, revenue tracking and forecasting
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, Email, and Internet related programs
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
