Corporate Actions Specialist

 ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for responding to and resolving all Corporate Action inquiries, requests for assistance and processing issues in a timely, effective and accurate manner. You will be expected to contribute to the development, documentation, documentation, implementation and communication of process improvements.

Financial Reporting Analyst

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for the following: (for a complete job description, click here)

  • Draft annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements and Forms N-SAR, N-Q, 24F-2, and N-CSR for registered investment companies, as well as timetable calendars for such statements
  • Develop and maintain a working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations and interpretations governing financial statements and disclosure, including the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Internal Revenue Code, GAAP, Regulation S-X and other applicable requirements
  • Communicate appropriately with the Financial Reporting Supervisor with respect to all timetables and workflow, and communicating to the extent appropriate about all relevant matters with other department members

ABOUT YOU

You have a Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience and possess the following qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of mutual fund accounting or related mutual fund experience including 1 to 2 years of prior financial reporting experience
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and recommend solutions
  • Strong aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capable of monitoring and completing a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to work in a client-driven, deadline oriented environment

Fund Accountant

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

You are responsible for performing specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm’s business lines. This would include activities such as; instruction receipt and authentication, entry instruction and verification (dual controls), processing and recording, reporting and acknowledgement, and reconciliation. Some areas where these activities would take place include Trade Entry, Foreign Exchange Processing, Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, and Research Notification.

Operations/Cash Management Specialist

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to strengthen client service and improve STP by focusing on process improvement including revenue opportunities or pitfalls.  You will be expected to effectively communicate with peers, management and the Operations department.

Other responsibilities may include: invoice preparation, coordinating Issue Documentation and Resolution , maintaining issue logs and leading monthly Operations calls.
