The earned sick time law, M.G.L. c. 149 § 148C, was approved by the voters on November 4, 2014 and put into effect on July 1, 2015. The law entitles employees in Massachusetts to earn and use sick time according to certain conditions. For more information click here. KNF&T’s Temporary and Contract Employee Handbook has been revised to incorporate the new regulations.
