  • Yes! If you are relocating and can’t make it into the office for an interview, we would be happy to Skype or Facetime with you.

Can I work with KNF&T if I haven’t completed my undergraduate degree?

  • Yes! We are happy to work with candidates still pursuing their undergraduate dregrees, or even those who have chosen a path post-high school other than college. We especially encourage veterans to apply. KNF&T is unable to place any candidate who has not earned either a High School Diploma or a GED.

I’m a veteran, can you help me find a job?

What is Staff-on-Standby?

  • Employees in KNF&T’s Staff-on-Standby™ program arrive in our office weekdays at 8:00am and are on “standby” until 11:30am in the event a client has a last-minute need for a contract worker.

What is your screening process like?

  • The cornerstone of KNF&T’s screening success is our ability to evaluate applicants and select only those candidates who meet our stringent requirements. Our screening process includes the following:
  • Initial telephone screening; Online application; In-depth, in-person interview and review of employment application; I-9 form and supporting documentation review
  • Prove It! skills testing/evaluation software that provides proficiency scores in Word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and graphics in today’s most commonly used software programs. Prove It! can be accessed by candidates remotely providing a convenient and streamlined process for candidate registration, which is helpful for candidates that are not local
  • Each candidate is introduced to and screened by a minimum of two of our staffing consultants at KNF&T to ensure quality control and cultural fit
  • Reference checks via SkillSurvey; Education verification if required by the client; Credit checks, criminal background checks and bonding, if required by the client
  • KNF&T also conducts a wide range of background checks via a third party testing service, which can be customized to meet our clients’ needs.

  • Although KNF&T is not ISO31000 certified, we do maintain a very in-depth Risk Management and Mitigation plan including extensive insurance coverage (broadened to include Cyber coverage in 2017), regular third party audit and review of our Privacy and Encryption policies and technology, and extensive legislative training to ensure that the team at KNF&T is always fully compliant with Federal and state legislation and up to date on cyber risks.
