KNF&T Staffing Resources is happy to announce that Joanna (Richardson) Renaud has been named the 3rd quarter winner of KNF&T’s 2016 Staffing Employee of the Year contest.
When a temporary job didn’t work out for Joanna, she took a chance by walking into KNF&T’s office, which was on her way home. She was seen right away by KNF&T’s Senior Staffing Consultant, Leah Smith. “I worked with a lot of staffing agencies and Leah was the only one that had jobs right way – that’s never happened before,” noted Joanna. She also noted that Leah “really listened to what I wanted and matched me with positions based on that.”
To boot, Joanna was getting married and needed a temporary position that could accommodate her schedule. First she started as a test proctor for a local university, then went on to work at a major medical facility in Boston.
Despite difficulties getting extensions from the medical facility, as well as difficulties getting approval for conversions of temporary staff to full-time employees, Joanna was repeatedly extended with the intention of hiring her permanently.
“Joanna is extremely hardworking, organized, and has incredible follow-up,” noted Leah. “She has always been openly communicative and highly reliable. And when her manager was no longer able to continue extending her assignment, she was passed along to another manager so as not to lose her as an internal employee.”
As of September 26th, Joanna has become a permanent employee within the Research Division of this medical facility. Leah adds, “This has taken an incredible amount of patience and diligence, and Joanna has handled the entire process gracefully.”
Joanna grew up in Braintree, MA and currently resides in Natick, MA. She received her BA from Bridgewater State University in 2011.
