Last night, KNF&T attended Crossroads’ Urban Campfire at the Boston Harbor Hotel. We enjoyed conversation with like-minded Boston business and community leaders, and met with some of the organization’s Youth Ambassadors to hear about how the Crossroads programs have impacted their lives.
The night’s speakers were extremely moving. Nineteen year old Ronique Williams told us of a childhood that forced her to be an adult, and how joining Crossroads at age six gave her the support she needed to discover her full potential. We also heard from Tatiana Joyce, a Crossroads alumna who recently graduated from Tufts University and is now focused on philanthropic engagement with the Crossroads organization. Both women are true inspirations.
KNF&T has been involved with the Crossroads foundation for years, and are proud to support their work in empowering thousands of the Commonwealth’s most under-resourced youth in an effort to close the opportunity and achievement gap. Crossroads provides summer and school year programs that support these students to become economically independent citizens, socially responsible leaders, and emotionally connected adults.
