Massachusetts Unemployment Rate Drops to Record 4.6%
The state announced this week that the unemployment rate in Massachusetts dropped to a record low of 4.6 percent in May – the lowest it has been since December 2007. Massachusetts was one of nine states to have a decrease in unemployment that month. KNF&T is proud to have added over 200 employees to the Massachusetts workforce in May. The national unemployment rate for the month of May was 5.5 percent.
