This week was bubbling with activity – from our typical busy days of recruiting candidates, to panels that we spoke on and events that we attended. Here’s a roundup of what we’ve been up to here at KNF&T:
KNF&T’s CEO Speaks on WBE All Star Panel
KNF&T’s CEO, Beth Tucker, spoke on an All Star Panel, Success to Stardom, at the CWE 2016 Women Business Leaders Conference this Thursday. This event is New England’s premier educational and networking conference for women business leaders and supplier diversity professionals.
Beth and the panel of WBE All Stars shared their insights and expertise regarding their WBENC certification – how it’s impacted their business, best practices, and how best to utilize it to your company’s advantage. As a leading women-owned business in Boston, participating in events like this are important to us so we can lend advice to help other women succeed. We’re looking forward to next year!
KNF&T Attends Pride In Our Workplace Breakfast Series
KNF&T is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and we love attending events with like-minded individuals. On Thursday, we had the pleasure of attending a Pride In Our Workplace (PIOW) breakfast series hosted by Locke Lord. PIOW is a MA nonprofit comprised of LGBTQ professionals and allies from industry-leading companies in New England. It’s a forum to share diversity and inclusion best practices, promote stronger networks, and further develop skills and capabilities.
Needless to say, the discussion was captivating as the panel went over issues like the gender pay gap, social justice, equality, and the various legislature that can have an impact. We’re excited to continue discussions like this and can’t wait for the next event.
