David Wertheim, CFO of KNF&T Staffing Resources in Boston, along with Team Bones have 8 days left of Movember. Dave’s Mo is coming along quite nicely, according to his co-workers, but that is not the sentiment of his wife and children who find it “quite scratchy”.
Dave and Team Bones have found themselves in some very good company this Movember. A simple Google search of Movember produces some very interesting articles, photos and fund raising ideas. Here are just a few that caught our eye:
The Huffington Post has an article with photos showcasing the 15 best moustaches in history. Included on the list are Dali, van Gogh and Dracula, among others. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/06/movember-_n_4221482.html
USA Today has a photo gallery entitles, “Movember To Remember” highlighting mo photos from around the world. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2013/11/21/movember-mustaches-men/3671617/
The Daily Free Press – The Independent Student Newspaper at Boston University – highlights the Movember efforts of the BU inline hockey club team, ice hockey club team and the varsity ice hockey team. http://dailyfreepress.com/2013/11/21/bu-hockey-teams-participate-in-movember-2/
And one of the most intriguing articles comes from a Gillette press release stating that the company is auctioning off Boston Red Sox player’s David Ortiz and Shane Victorino’s beard ball trophies. They are currently up for auction on eBay and 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit Movember. Interested in placing a bid?
