Team Bones is through Week 1 of Movember and David Wertheim, CFO of KNF&T Staffing Resources in Boston, is hard at work growing and grooming his Mo. He’s not quite sure of the look he’s going for this year, but luckily there is a Style Guide on Movember’s website for some inspiration.
In conjunction with the support of coworkers and friends, many registered Mo Bro groups and individuals have found additional sponsorship through matching donations from their employer. However, one the most important supporters a Mo Bro can have is that from a Mo Sista.
According to Movember’s website, a Mo Sista can be a mother, daughter, friend and colleague, wife, girlfriend or partner. While Mo Sistas are not expected to grow a Mo, there are many other ways they can be involved. A Mo Sista supports the power of the moustache and is dedicated to empowering the Mo Bros throughout their moustache growing-journey. Specifically, a Mo Sista can participate in recruiting team members, assist in fundraising and organize Mo Parties. They can also play a vital role in a Mo Bro’s life by being their health advocate, helping to raise awareness and encouraging the Mo Bro in her life to talk about the health issues men are facing today. This is the 2nd installment in a series of 6 blogs following David Wertheim and Team Bones as they grow their Mo’s for the month of November. To read the 1st blog dated November 5th, click here.
