Administrative Coordinator

In this Administrative Coordinator role, you will support the mission to execute large, family friendly events by coordinating volunteers and activities, preparing reports, and handling administrative duties. Responsibilities include: 

  • General administrative duties (answering phones, copying, filing, faxing, mailings, coordinating meetings)
  • Composing letters & creating forms for event mailings
  • Maintaining & organizing various databases
  • Overseeing work related to media analysis of events
  • Assist with monthly e-newsletter
  • Coordinate volunteers and various aspects of events

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and warm demeanor
  • Strong proficiency with Mac Desktop & MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Event planning experience helpful
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for the greater Springfield community desirable

 

The Administrative Coordinator role is a full-time, contract to hire position in the Springfield area. The pay rate of $22.00 per hour and the schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm, with some flexibility to assist with community events evenings and weekends. Interested or want to learn more?
