Residential Loan Servicing Specialist-

One of the oldest and largest community banks in Massachusetts is seeking a Residential Loan Servicing Specialist to join their team. This is a HYBRID Temp to Perm opportunity. The role will also assist with new loan fundings, loan payment transaction processing, answering customer questions, and other functions relating to servicing of the Residential and Consumer loans.  if interested, apply today!                    

Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for onboarding and servicing mortgage, home equity and consumer loans in the core system in accordance with Federal, State, Bank Compliance, and Investor standards
  
•  Prepare payoff’s and discharge documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Responsible for the fulfilling of residential/consumer service requests directly from customers, Customer Care Center and Retail Branches.
• Responsible for supporting other critical loan servicing functions like new loan funding, loan payment/exception processing and insurance tracking.   Work cohesively with the Collections Department to process payment exceptions and hardship loan modifications.
• Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with department approved procedures, record retention policies and within SLA’s.
• Contribute on special projects including efficiency improvements, streamlining current processes and documenting changes.

Qualifications:

• College education preferred
• 1-2 years' banking experience, preferably in Residential loan servicing or bank operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, ability to interact with internal and external customers effectively    
• Excellent customer service, problem resolution skills and strong PC skills.
• Working knowledge of residential and consumer loan documents and experience with booking residential and consumer loans preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines along with excellent time management skills
